  • A parent IGSN number registered for the Ice core point or location is required
  • For all ice core samples curated by NSF-ICF unique sibling IGSN will be derived.
  • Projects with samples not curated by NSF-ICF are encouraged to follow the same naming scheme.
    • The table below illustrates what will be generated for data that currently classified as tubes by NSF-ICF:
